A Little About Me
My name is Jessica Lynn Powell, and I am in the process of becoming a certified birth doula through DONA Int'l. I have chosen this profession after several personal tragedies of my own. After going through several miscarriages, I realized that women need someone who can share in their joys (and pains) with compassion and an understanding heart. I believe I can be that person for many. I know how scary every step of pregnancy and childbirth can be, even under the best of circumstances, and I am here to help!

Graceful Additions & Smoother Transitions is a company created to serve two purposes, one is to provide resources and services for expectant mothers and their families, and the other is to provide comfort and support for families that have experienced a pregnancy loss. You are more than welcome to visit any of the pages on this site, however for those who are currently pregnant, I strongly suggest that you avoid the pages dealing with loss, as it may be emotionally difficult to deal with, and may cause undue stress.
